The Brief

To kick off their Back-to-School 2023 campaign, Great Clips wanted to make a splash where it mattered most: right on the University of Michigan campus — just before students returned.

Our Approach

We went live at Ann Arbor’s iconic Street Art Fair, an event that pulls nearly 500,000 visitors across three days. With that kind of foot traffic, we knew it was the perfect moment to spark back-to-school energy — and get Great Clips into the student conversation early.

We filmed high-energy street interviews, tapping into college humor and student style to organically tie into the Great Clips brand.

The Vibe
